Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol: Movie Review...

The super popular and very cook Mission: Impossible franchise is back... enter Ghost Protocol.

Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt goes on a one man rampage to clear his organization's name in Brad Bird's first live-action film, and Bird does a top job.

Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, does the 16 year old movie and television franchise justice and we think is one of the better films of 2011. This film and some of the cast just has to win some awards, and this is Cruise's big comeback that the world has been waiting for.

You've got the can't miss combo of Yankee agents attempting to stop a bad guy who has it in this think skull that a nuclear winter will be very cool. Ethan has other ideas, and becomes a one man war machine (or anti-war machine), may be more appropriate.

IMAX teamed up with Paramount Pictures, Cruise and Bird really is a world class threesome.

Those into maths - the franchise has netted in $1.4 billion to date.

Media and fans across the world are lapping it up, but will Cruise also come to Australia to promote the film? Time will tell, but here's hoping our friends at Paramount Pictures Australia will give it the nod.

Ethan does all (or most) of his own stunts, and is often found on tall buildings. It's hard to tell how much CGI and other visual effects are used, and we are not likely to find out.

The tagline is No Plan. No Backup. No Choice. You have a choice as to if you will see this film. We're here to tell you to see it. Most of the Mission: Impossible games of all types are worth checking out also, so check Media Man's Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment PartyCasino and Nintendo reviews, and then there's the official Mission: Impossible for the latest and greatest on the film. Cruise has stopped or distanced himself from Scientology, and that's further got him browny points with the world's media and movie fans. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Your mission today, or at least this festive season, is to see this film (and any live music associated with it).
